  • Scheduling your appointments: please call:443-510-1746 OR: email: Appointments are made on a first come basis.  Micaila Ryder is Dr. Shaeffer's Administrative Assistant.
  • All calls are recorded and are NOT taken live. 
  • Emails and calls will be returned within the next half BUSINESS day. If there is an emergency, please call your Physician or go to the nearest emergency facility.
  • First time appointments are generally 75 minutes and $240 and follow up appointments are generally 30-45 minutes and $90-$135. Payment is expected each visit in cash or check, but credit cards are also accepted (except AmEx). 
  • There is a FULL visit charge for failure to show or cancellation less than 24 hours before a pre scheduled visit.
  • There are 30 minute EMERGENCY screen/treatment times available and $100. 
  • We do not accept insurance but do file for Tricare Standard. 
  • To assist your filing, we would be happy to provide a receipt of payment upon request.
  • Medicare patients can NOT be seen in this office unless the service is NOT otherwise paid by Medicare.  PT cannot opt out like Physicians and other professions, so payment method does not change this.

  • New patients will receive an email invitation to join the online patient portal within 24 hours of scheduling an initial evaluation. If you do not receive this email invitation after 24 hours, please contact our office.
  • Complete and submit all forms at least 24 hours before your appointment. Forms can be completed within Patient Ally, our online patient portal. Please note: these forms cannot be accessed from mobile devices. If you are experiencing difficulties completing these forms, please contact the our office.
  • Please review all the information about Dry Needling and other information resources in the "Patient Resources" tab as this information will help you make the most of your first visit. 
  • Bring/wear loose fitting shorts (if back or leg issue) and your usual worn sport shoe, braces, orthotics
